Hundres Hindus Celebrate Nyepi at Adhitia Jaya Temple

Hundreds of Hindus from Greater Jakarta fervently hold worship at Adhitiya Jaya Temple, Rawamangun, Pulogadung, East Jakarta, Wednesday (3/9). They are scheduled worship at 6 AM, 12 PM and 6 PM.

Adhi Parama Harta, (29), one of Hindus said the number of worshipers at temple is 200 people and most came from Greater Jakarta. 

"Some are from outside Java Island, especially those who were visiting their relative's home on Nyepi," he told, Wednesday (3/9).

Made Widastra, (38), another Hindus expressed, after worship, it is usually continued with discussion, reflection and self-correcting in the past year of life.

"Certainly we hope all our mistakes, the sins in the past, is not done anymore and forgiveness by God Almighty," he hoped.

Based on Beritajakarta.com, many Hindus conduct discussion in groups. There is also the prayer activity individually. In the afternoon, there will be 200 worshipers hold worship.
